From Ridere Estudio Dental we will always recommend you to come at least once a year for check-ups.

In this way, if anything is wrong we will be able to solve it in time and make the treatment very durable.

Our implantology department is an expert in this type of techniques, which consist of the placement of 4 – 6 implants on which fixed teeth will be placed (when possible) on the same day. These teeth are usually made of resin and they can be perfectly used for definitive use.

However, after 6 months it is recommended that they be replaced by more resistant ones, such as zirconium, since materials like resin or composite with the passing of time tend to suffer from wear or even fracture.

In our all on four and all on six surgeries we use computer guided surgery, which consists of a 3D software planning of the surgery, to then create a series of guides so that our implant placement is 100% precise.

In addition, and whenever the case allows it, we can perform the surgery without having to make incisions or sutures, so the postoperative period for our patients is practically painless.

Sarah Green

“I travelled from the UK to receive dental treatment at Ridere. I had 4 implants placed in my upper and lower jaw. On my first visit I was very nervous, but the staff soon put me at ease. Throughout my 4 months of treatment and many visits to the clinic, they answered any questions I had and worked hard to make sure my treatment was completed on time. I am very happy with my new smile and would highly recommend their services. ¡¡¡¡¡Bravo!!!!!”

"I went with my mother to the clinic to get a quote for implants. From the moment we entered the clinic she felt so comfortable that she decided to have the treatment there. She was very nervous and during the whole process she started to lose her fear of the dentist. Without a doubt every time I am asked about a clinic in Alicante I recommend them".

What is a Dental Implant?

Implantology is a dental speciality whose function is to fill the gaps left by teeth that have fallen out or had to be extracted.

A dental implant is a titanium screw that is placed, by means of a small surgery, in the jawbone and, therefore, it fits perfectly so that a crown can then be fitted.

In our dental clinic in Alicante we first carry out an initial test to see the state of your maxillary bone, the state of your gums and an assessment of the occlusion of your mouth.

In this way, we can see if it is possible to place a dental implant or if, on the other hand, it is better to opt for another solution.

Guided Surgery

At Ridere Estudio Dental we opt for the best technology to achieve the greatest precision when placing implants. For this reason, we use computer-guided surgery with CT and the CAD/CAM technique.

This technology allows us to place the implants in exactly the right place, with no room for small errors and being able to be very precise.

Guided dental implant surgery offers a number of advantages over traditional placement:

1

Operating time

Reduces operating time and can be combined with immediate loading. We will be able to place your new teeth the same day.

2

Better results

Improves postoperative outcomes, reducing inflammation and the risk of infection.

3

Maximum precision

It is much more precise and therefore a major advance in surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions about Dental Implants

You can see our full price list here.

First the local anaesthetic is applied and then a screw is used which is placed into the bone and acts as a substitute for the root of the tooth.

For the majority of patients, the treatment is painless because, if a single implant has to be inserted, it is done under local anaesthesia and in a single session.
On the other hand, if several implants have to be placed at the same time, they can be placed under conscious sedation, which is very well planned and studied by our specialists.

Dental implants themselves do not usually cause any problems, in fact, according to several specialised studies, they have a 94.6% success rate after 13 years with them in place.

However, there is always a small percentage in which the implant can move if it has not integrated well with the maxillary bone, in which case the dentist should see it to assess whether it is necessary to put a new one.

Also, in very isolated cases, the gum may become inflamed, causing peri-implantitis and making the implant less firmly attached, in which case it should also be checked by the dentist in order to resolve the stability of the dental implant as soon as possible.

If you feel pain or a lot of discomfort when the implant is pressed.
If the area is swollen.
If it moves during the healing period.

A dental implant, especially if it is from a well-known brand such as Straumann, usually lasts more than 20 years and in some cases even more than 35 years. So, depending on your dental health care, they can last practically a lifetime.
